Chamalee and Sam were married in a traditional Sinhalese wedding at the gorgeous Taronga Centre. They broke tradition a little by opting to see each other before the ceremony. I suggested that we set the scene and make their first meeting special, so I set up a ‘first look’ in Cham’s front yard. As Sam faced away from his bride-to-be, the bridal party revved him up, telling him how amazing she looked. His expression when he turned around was priceless (and captured on camera of course!).
Following the first look, we met at Bradley’s head for some bridal party photos in the warm November sun before heading to Taronga Centre for their outdoor ceremony and reception in the ballroom.
Cham’s breathtaking sari was designed by the talented Helani from Gather and Stitch (who also looked after hair and make-up), Jazz Fever rocked the dancefloor, and it was a pleasure as always working with Ramin and his team from Arian Film Productions, who put together a hilarious skit video of how Cham and Sam met.
