From the beginning, Manbir and Rubani wanted to do things differently. For their pre-wedding shoot, they wanted to go somewhere new and different, so we put our thinking caps on and came up with a few ideas. We decided on two locations: The rocky outcrop at The Skillion in Terrigal, and the sand dunes in Port Stephens (where I’ve always wanted to shoot). Along with the fantastic cinematography team at Perfect Media, we started off in Terrigal, stayed the night in Port Stephens and did a morning shoot in the sand dunes.
I think we succeeded in creating something different and exciting for Manbir and Rubani, and despite the gale-force winds throwing us around on the sand dunes, we got some rocking images!
