A pre-wedding shoot is a photo shoot with you and your partner, at a location of your choice (or I can help with ideas). Your pre-wedding shoot goes for 1.5 hours on a weekday and is a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera. Most of our couples choose to have a pre-wedding shoot and really love the experience!

Many of our couples also choose to use their favourite pre-wedding shoot photos for a photo signing book or a canvas to display at the wedding reception. A pre-wedding shoot is also a great way to get photos in a location that may otherwise not be possible on your wedding day (for example, where you proposed, or where you like to hang out).

• Do I need a pre-wedding shoot?

Most of my couples book an engagement session (aka pre-wedding shoot) with me. They are a fantastic way to get comfortable in front of the camera, get a hair and make-up trial, and get creative with your outfits and location choices. Here are 9 Reasons to book a pre-wedding shoot.

• Can I have a shoot like this even if I'm already married (or not planning to)?

Absolutely. I do couple shoots for anniversaries, surprise gifts for partners, and couples who simply want to celebrate their love.

• When will my photos by ready?

Your pre-wedding photos will be ready in 2 weeks. You can access your photos via an easy-to-use password protected online gallery, which is perfect for sharing with family and friends, and I'll send you a link to download your images in high resolution.

• What can I do with my pre-wedding shoot photos?

A lot of my couples choose one of their pre-wedding photos to display as a canvas or metal print at the entrance to their wedding and reception, for a more personal way to welcome their guests. We also create beautiful hard-cover photo signing books, which have your favourite picture on the cover, and inside are professionally-designed pages with your pre-wedding photos and plenty of blank space for guests to sign their messages.

• How many photos do we receive?

While every pre-wedding shoot is different, you can expect to receive around 100 images. I will present your images on a private online gallery for easy sharing with your guests, as well as a digital download for the high resolution images.

• Do you edit all the photos?

All of your photos are edited in our signature editing style. This includes adding pop to colours and bringing out details.

• How much does it cost?

Your pre-wedding shoot is $750, which includes a 1.5-2 hour location shoot and all edited digital images. Canvases start from $380, and signing guest books are $350. Please contact me to book in your shoot (spaces are limited due to my busy wedding schedule) and I'd be happy to send you my detailed price guide.
