After two long years of scheduling, rescheduling and trudging through Visa nightmares, Aimee and Muhammad’s big day finally arrived. And by watching the two of them fit together so effortlessly, and the genuine love shared between everyone present, one thing was clear: it was worth the wait. This wedding marked the end of a week of ceremonies, including the Muslim Nikah marriage ceremony and Aimee’s henna/mehndi night.
Their ceremony was nice and local – St Andrew’s Cronulla, and reception at one of my favourite venues – The Westin.
Aimee’s hair and make-up by Mae You Be, entertainment by Funkified, favours by Cookie Couture, cake by Faye Cahill, Aimee’s henna by Zenat. And her gorgeous gown? “… I don’t remember, I bought it two years ago!”
